Builders program

The Builders program recognizes people building on Oarcoin. Approved builders are featured on the Builders leaderboard and receive a +5,000 influence score bonus added to their profile.

How to apply

  1. Visit the Apply to Build page.
  2. Fill in your details and describe your project.
  3. Submit your application.

Applications are reviewed manually. You will receive an email when your application is reviewed.

What you need to provide

  • Name (required)
  • X/Twitter handle (optional, but helps us link your profile)
  • Email (optional, for notifications)
  • Telegram (optional)
  • Project name (required)
  • Project description (optional)
  • Project URL (optional)
  • Project X/Twitter (optional)
  • What did you build? (required)

The +5,000 score bonus

When your application is approved, a +5,000 influence score bonus is added to your profile as part of the weighted engagement formula:

score = views × 1 + reposts × 10 + replies × 4 + isBuilder × 5000

This bonus is:

  • Applied immediately — scan your profile to see the updated score, or wait for the next weekly snapshot (every Monday)
  • Persistent — it does not expire
  • Reflected on the main leaderboard, your profile, and the Builders leaderboard

The Builders leaderboard

The Builders leaderboard ranks approved builders by their total influence score (engagement score + builder bonus). It shows:

  • Rank — position in the builders leaderboard
  • Builder — your avatar, name, and badge
  • Project — your project name
  • Score — your total influence score

Builder badge

Approved builders receive a "Builder" badge that appears:

  • On the Builders leaderboard
  • On your profile page
  • Next to your name wherever your profile is displayed

Frequently asked questions

Can I apply if I don't have an X account? Yes, but linking your X handle helps us verify your influence and connect your builder profile to your existing Oarfluence profile.

How long does review take? Applications are reviewed manually. You will receive an email when your application is processed.

Can I update my application after submitting? Contact us through the Connect page to update your application details.

What counts as "building on Oarcoin"? Any project that uses, integrates with, or contributes to the Oarcoin ecosystem. This includes but is not limited to: wallets, exchanges, tools, analytics, educational content, and community projects.
